Desert Survivor
At this point in the semester my research has been going rather smoothly compared to last semester. However, since I've been on this project by myself I haven't been able to isolate as many individual bacterial colonies. I believe I should still be able to have enough information for comparative data. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. This week I finally have my first round of rural bacteria! I gathered these samples outside of Yuma, Arizona.

Hi Jacqueline! It's so exciting to see how far you have come throughout your research. Moving from growing bacteria on plates to Microplates (which I didn't know existed). By the way, were you able to finally grow bacteria on them? I hope your research continues to go as smoothly as it has been! :)
ReplyDeleteI am glad your research project is coming along smoothly. I can imagine that it may not be easy to not have a partner because then all the responsibility falls on you. But it looks like you are doing great. Curious to see what you find on those samples you collected from Yuma!
ReplyDeleteI am glad your project is going well. Even though you do not have a partner anymore, you are still doing great work. It is so cool you are collecting samples from the plants in Yuma. Must be fun to not to trap in the lab and experience the sunshine haha. Good luck :)!
